About Cromo

Where knowledge becomes action.

The best teams already know more than enough. The hard part is turning that knowledge into action, every day.

Our story

Why we built Cromo.

We come from finance, machine learning, and aerospace engineering — fields where mistakes are costly and precision isn't optional. Before Cromo, we built software used by some of the most demanding hedge funds and asset managers in the world.

Everywhere we looked, we saw talented teams losing enormous amounts of time: searching for information, reconciling data, repeating the same workflows, manually connecting systems that should already work together.

The information existed. The processes existed. But knowledge stayed fragmented across emails, documents, spreadsheets, and chats. And the AI tools that could answer questions struggled with what actually matters — context, reliability, and execution.

We realized organizations don't just need better answers. They need software that understands their knowledge and puts it to work.

The principles that guide Cromo
01 Reliability matters more than novelty.

We'd rather ship something that works every time than something that dazzles once. In the environments we build for, trust is earned by being dependable.

02 Every answer must be verifiable and traceable.

Nothing is a black box. You can always see where an answer came from and check the work behind it.

03 People stay in control, always.

Cromo does the work, but the decisions remain yours. The technology adapts to how your team operates — not the other way around.

04 Technology should reduce complexity, not add to it.

Powerful doesn't have to mean complicated. We hide the hard parts so the people using Cromo can focus on their work.

Because when the work matters, “probably correct” isn't good enough.

What we believe

The next generation of software won't just store information. And it won't just hand back answers. It will understand, reason, and execute.

That's what we're building with Cromo.
